What do we stand for?
Many people believe that paying more means getting more value. In my experience, when it comes to consumer tech very often that’s not the case, and paying more simply means overpaying. Our goal is to educate, especially young people, to think twice before falling for an ad, and instead buy things based on the user “needs” rather than user “wants”.
What is our mission?
Throughout the years I noticed that very often my new purchases would not be as exciting as their ads. This is when Roman Does Consumer Tips was born. My YouTube channel is dedicated to providing consumer tips and advice on everyday gadgets and objects, to help viewers select the proper products, save money, and avoid scams and money grabs.
How am i different from everyone else?
In my reviews, I like to concentrate on:
1. Ease of Use – anyone has to be able to use it if they know what this is.
2. Build Quality – product has to be durable and reliable for its life span and adequately reliable for its method of use.
3. Task Performance – everything is made to complete a certain task, if it fails at its main purpose of existence, why would you buy it?
Hence, we don’t go too deep into technical specs since everyone else does it already, instead, the channel is aimed at providing useful and critical information for the average consumer.
Who Runs The Show?
My name is Roman and I live in Canada. I’m a consultant by day and tech addict by night sharing my experiences with the world. I love DIY approach in life and will try to share as much knowledge as I can.
